Sector’s global macro team comprises three investment professionals, who together have almost 50 years’ experience in investment management. The team is organised as a separate investment manager, Asymmetric Asset Management AS, a company owned by the investment professionals and Sector Asset Management AS. Asymmetric Asset Management AS is regulated as an AIF by Finanstilsynet (the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway).
Asymmetric Asset Management AS manages Asymmetric Global Macro Fund, a discretionary global macro fund investing in fixed income, foreign exchange and equities through physical and derivative instruments. The Fund’s edge is based on the Fund Manager’s long success of investing in asymmetric conditions that offer a good trade-off between expected risk and return. The market place is global, and with a focus on Nordic markets. The main objective is to generate long-term absolute return. The Fund addresses well informed investors, in accordance with Luxembourg law.

Gunnar Pedersen, is the Fund Manager of Asymmetric Global Macro Fund. He has 21 years' professional experience. Prior to co-founding Asymmetric Asset Management, Mr. Pedersen founded Augmentum AS, where he acted as portfolio manager. He has also co-founded and served as portfolio manager for Latitude Asset Management, where he was awarded the “best global macro fund” by Hedge Funds Review in 2005. Mr. Pedersen is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a M.Sc. From the Norwegian School of Economics and the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).
Jens Bergrahm, is a Porfolio Manager of Asymmetric Global Macro Fund. He has 27 years professional experience. Mr. Bergrahm joined Asymmetric Asset Management in 2015 from a position as Senior Vice President Asset Management of Assuranceforeningen Skuld (Gjensidige).
Johan Jonson, is the COO of Asymmetric Asset Management AS. He has more than 20 years experience in risk management and COO roles in institutions sunch as ABB Financial Services and Latitude Asset Management. Jonson joined Asymmetric in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Uppsala.
